Sincere thanks for acknowledging me in Video 2. I have sent about 30 emails/letters to the board through Mr Tanner and Xavier that requested acknowledgement that they had distributed each email to the directors. I am still waiting for one response.
Hopefully, you accept that I was being facetious when I said that I had wasted 18 minutes of my life listening to your presidential speech from the Roosevelt Room of the White House!
As I have spent 12 to 15 hours a day, seven days a week since July 2013 on the Essendon Saga, watching you for 30 minutes (18 + 12) is not a chore. Watching you for 30 minutes is the good news. I do take issue with you categorising me as ‘one of the [club’s] sterner critics. Although I am a fanatical Swans supporter, I classify myself as Essendon’s greatest supporter through trying to help the players.
As we speak, you are the president of a club who has been found guilty of having more drug cheats than any other club in the world. And you were on the board when it happened.
According to the Victorian OH&S Act, members of the Essendon board and the AFL commissioners, and not James Hird, should have been charged with failing to provide a safe workplace. I have made a very strong case in my book that by bowing to AFL blackmail, you and your fellow directors failed to fulfill your fiduciary duties.
You know, and I know, that the players were not guilty. Even ASADA admits that there is no evidence that Dank or Essendon ever took possession of Thymosin Beta-4. If there is no evidence Dank received Thymosin Beta-4, there is clearly no evidence that 34 players were administered Thymosin Beta-4. NB If Thymosin were the generic name for Thymosin Beta-4, there was no reason that the ASADA investigator illegally changed the evidence by replacing the word Thymosin with the word Thymosin Beta-4 on 51occasions.
I read, word by word, the ASADA 750-page document that contained roughly 16,835 text messages. Only three (3) text messages contained the word Thymosin Beta-4. Dank wrote only one of the texts and recanted the next day.
I have put everything I own at risk by being outspoken to prove the players were innocent. I have written to the three CAS tribunal members, including the former chief justice of the NSW Supreme Court James Spigelman and told them that they changed evidence and therefore were arguably corrupt. I have not heard from them.
I have lost count of the number of times that I have told the AFL, ASADA and WADA officials that they were corrupt.
The ‘experts’ don’t believe the club will win a premiership within your tenure as president. However, you can save the club and the 34 players’ reputations and become the greatest president in the club’s history if you fight to clear them. If a member of your family were wrongly found guilty, I suspect you would fight to your last breath to clear them. The 34 players and club are family. Why are you and the board treating them as lepers – or should I say as Covid-19 carriers?
I stopped counting/recording after I crashed through the 15,000 hours barrier. I have been told that I have spent more time on the Essendon Saga than James Hird spent at the club as a player and coach. I have written about 2 million words and have upwards of 50,000 pages in my files. Jack Rush QC and the Herald Sun’s CEO Peter Blunden are the only two to have challenged me. I have attached my response to Jack Rush. I doubt he will be silly enough to put his head up again.
Blunden’s major criticism was that I put a hyphen between Herald and Sun.
I have also attached my letter to the Victorian Police Commission Mr Ashton and my letter to ASADA CEO David Sharpe. I shall forward the email I sent to the CAS judges.
Mr Brasher, I suspect that most members want you to try and clear the players and the club of the stigma of being drug cheats. Episode 2 of your video was very professional and interesting. But most members believe until you address the elephant in the room – failing to clear the players – you are only selling vegemite sandwiches dressed up as caviar sandwiches.
Mark Thompson came to my home on the QLD border to thank me. Stewart Crameri’s mother came from Victoria to thank me. Five other members from Victoria came to thank me. My doctors believe that I am too unwell to fly. I caught my first and only flight this century to attend the AGM last year. I was treated like dirt by Mr Tanner.
